Heading

The "Heading" content element in TheGem WPBakery has various content fields, where you can activate the display of dynamic text content and use dynamic link.

Heading: Text

In the “Heading Source” field you can select the dynamic source for displaying the heading:

Post/Page Title

Displays the title of the current post/page

Post/Page Excerpt

Displays the excerpt of the current post/page

Post/Page Date

Displays the date when the current post/page was published

Post/Page Time

Displays the time when the current post/page was published

Author Name

Displays the name of the author of the current post/page

Comments Number

Displays the number of comments of the current post/page

Custom Field (TheGem)

Displays the value of the chosen TheGem’s custom field that is associated with the current post.

Note: after selecting this option you need first to select the respective post type of the current post and then to choose the respective custom field

ACF Field

Displays the value of the chosen ACF field (advance custom fields plugin) that is associated with the current post.

Note: first you need to select the respective ACF field group and then to choose the respective ACF Field.

Toolset Field

Displays the value of the chosen Toolset field (Toolset plugin) that is associated with the current post.

Note: first you need to select the respective Toolset field group and then to choose the respective Toolset Field.

Field Type

In the “Field Type” field you can specify whether the dynamic value comes from the custom field of type “number”, apply auto-formatting on this value (via WP Locale) and specify prefix and suffix.

Heading: Link

You can also specify the dynamic link source for the link of the “Heading” element:

1: In the “Link Type” field select “Dynamic”
2: In the “Dynamic Link Source” select the custom field type (TheGem’s Custom Fields, ACF Fields, Toolset Fields)
3: In the “Select Dynamic Link” you can then select the custom field with the link value
